An unofficial offline map for Horizon Forbidden West is available, offering detailed locations of various in-game elements such as Machine Sites, Campfires, Settlements, Quests, Errands, Salvage Contracts, Tallnecks, Metal Flowers, Signal Lenses, Datapoints, and more. Users can access additional information by tapping on icons within the map to view detailed descriptions in pop-up windows.

Moreover, the map provides a feature to track collectible items with a checklist that allows users to mark items as completed or pending directly from the map interface. Icons on the map can be filtered based on type, location, and status for enhanced usability.

For data backup and synchronization across multiple devices, users have the option to utilize iCloud sync functionality. It's important to note that HorizonFW Companion is a third-party application; the developer is not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC. Nevertheless, the app is permitted for creation and maintenance until further notice.
